Here at GrantEd, we are always on the lookout for exceptional people to bring their experience and diverse expertise to our fun, hard-working team. We are currently recruiting for casual grant advisors to add to our pool of available talent.
ARC is currently finalising the new schemes under their national competitive grants program – so in preparation for upcoming schemes at the end of 2026 and beyond, we are looking for additional expertise to broaden the depth and diversity of our team.
What you’ll bring to this role:

In-depth knowledge of the Australian grant funding landscape and specific knowledge of current ARC schemes

Ability to rapidly digest, comprehend and apply new ARC guidelines and instructions to applicants when they arrive

Experience supporting grant applicants pre-submission – including grant development, strategic review and editing, and giving everything that final polish!
Your experience and expertise in the following areas are highly sought after, however we value diverse expertise from all backgrounds and range of experience:

Humanities and social sciences

Research on First Nations communities and working with First Nations researchers

Business and economics
What do you do as a grant advisor?
Proactively help academic researchers write:
-
compelling responses that address instructions to applicants and assessment criteria
-
quality, innovative, significant and feasible research propositions
-
clear and concise documents including meticulous spelling, grammar, punctuation and writing.
What does our casual workload look like?
Casual workload can vary across the year (from 0 up to 38 hours per week during busy periods) depending on funding body schedules. Work is expected to be completed during typical business hours. The work is all remote – our team is spread across the country – with regular online catch ups and occasional in person team events.
